A lot of people feel that the zucchini and the courgette are similar to each other because of their appearance. They are the same plant veggies too. The difference is how they develop. Between the two, the courgette is smaller because it only grows up to 14 x 4 centimeters. The zucchini is going to be bigger at about 15 centimeters long. Some may grow up to 20 centimeters.

Take note that these two are normally harvested when they are still premature although some of them may reach their mature stages when they are not harvested immediately. These vegetables are usually harvested early in the morning in order to maintain their freshness.
