One of the main differences between Eastern and Western religions is the beliefs that people have depending on their location. Those who follow Eastern religions are polytheistic which means that they normally follow different gods.

There are some that would believe a lot of gods and goddesses depending on their location. They may have a god for the different things that they feel they need. Those who believe in Western religions tend to believe in just one God.

They know that there are different prophets that were sent by God to spread the message of goodwill but they know that there is only one supreme being that they should worship and venerate.
