You may assume that the sword and dagger are the same but you should know that they are different from each other. The sword is known to be a weapon that comes with a long blade. The sword is normally used in order to slash, to hit, and even to cut. The dagger, on the other hand, is known to come with a shorter blade. The primary role of the dagger is to stab.

While most people think that these weapons are only used against human beings when they are fighting, they are also used in other things. For example, they are used as protection. Sometimes they are only used for threatening but not to the point that they will actually be used. The dagger is sometimes used to cut different items especially in lieu of a knife.
