Xanax is used for the treatment of severe anxiety. People who are also suffering from panic disorder may experience this as well. The main problem with this is that it can be addictive and the withdrawal symptoms of this can be bad.

Xanax XR is normally used by people who are suffering from panic disorders. Their side effects may also be different from each other.

For example, those who are taking Xanax can sometimes experience some weight loss or weight gain. Those who are taking Xanax XR may experience insomnia and depression. It is important that you will always follow the prescription of your doctor just to be sure.

Both drugs are grouped as benzodiazepines, and Xanax is a short-acting drug. Xanax Extended-release is a long-acting drug. Xanax is taken a few times every day, while Extended-Release is only taken once a day. The extended-release version is more expensive than regular.

It is administered for panic attacks and anxiety. Xanax XR is more advantageous because the drug lasts up to twenty-four hours. Also, a thirty- tablet bottle of two-milligram tablets of Xanax costs USD 130, while a thirty- tablet bottle of two-milligram tablets of Xanax XR costs USD 161.
