Trousers are worn by males and females; they are clothing that covers the lower part of the body.
Braches are knee-length clothing that is closed and fastened about the leg’s buttons, straps, and drawstring.

There are different types of breeches Spanish breeches, petticoat breeches, and rhinegraves. Breeches are mostly used in martial art and ridding. Examples of ridding breeches include knee patches, jockey breeches, full seats, and jodhpur. Breeches were worn by men from the 16 century to the 17 century.

Jodhpur evolved from the ancient Indian trouser called churidar. Jodhpur is not only worn by riders but also by military officers. Jodhpur is worn together with Jodhpur boot or padlock boats. There is only one type of Jodhpur, unlike breeches, which has a different type.

Breeches and Jodhpurs are specially designed legwear to make horse riding relaxed during equestrian events. Special trousers need to be worn when horseback riding to be able to ride freely and with no problems. There are two different kinds of riding pants, and these include jodhpurs and breeches. Jodhpurs were named after the North Indian city of Jodhpur.

These are pants that are tight below the knee and loose at the top around the hips. Polo players and royalty often wear these pants. Breeches are legwear, which is knee-length, so they do not make it difficult to maneuver around. There is a special type of breeches that are made to fit up to the ankle. Breeches are now only worn when fencing and equestrian to promote comfortability. Breeches used to be very popular, as they originated in England, but now pantaloons and jeans are more fashionable.
