Google and Yahoo have been the leading companies in the internet and software industry to which people are gravitating. The chief difference between Google and Yahoo is that Google has a significant market share and a broader scope. While Yahoo has a small market share and is a perfect option for entertainment, Google’s claim to fame is its search engine.
It later came to develop a series of popular services such as a chain of products and acquisitions. It also offers services specifically geared toward work productivity. Google has more shares. Google also has better social networking sites, such as Google+ and YouTube, while Yahoo has Yahoo answers and Flickr. Yahoo, a pioneer in the early days of the internet, was once the undisputed internet champion. However, it started to decline in the late 2000s.
I remember when I was younger, we had an old computer and we always used to do searches with Yahoo, I remember Yahoo games (which now are no more there, they closed that service). But now Google is everywhere and there was also a moment when I thought that Yahoo has died.
