The iPhone and iPod Touch are two different products of the apple incorporate with their distinguishing characteristics. The iPod touch is a small media player, which can also be used as one's personal digital assistant. You can connect it to a Wi-Fi mobile platform produced by the same parent company. The iPod touch was released for usage in the year 2007.

On the other side of the coin, iPhone happens to be a Smartphone that uses the same hardware as that of iPod touch, but just that it has some added features like an inbuilt camera and microphone and also a telephone network. The iPhone and iPod touch have a chrome frame, which makes them look similar to each other, but the iPod touch is still thinner than the iPhone. The iPhone has a speaker at the top of it, while the back of the iPod is made of metal. iPhone has more functions than the iPod touch.
