Social media and emails are as different as night and day. On twitter, you share your posts and pictures to everyone who follows you, which could be anywhere from 20 to 1000 people. With emails, you are typically only communicating with one person, and they are the only ones who view the e-mal. Twitter is well known for having a 140 -character limit. Emails, on the other hand, do not possess a character limit. Another advantage of emails over twitter is that with emails, you can attach files. Emails closely follow the structure of letters. After all, email was created to be a cheaper and faster alternative to traditional mail. However, with twitter, you can get the word out to as many people as possible in a quick and timely matter.
