What is the difference between To and CC?

Some people can become confused with the differences between to and cc whenever they look at their email. You have to remember that is the area where you are going to place the main recipient of the email. You are sending your email directly to this person. Cc, on the other hand, means carbon copy.
The email addresses that you will place here will receive a copy of the original email that you sent to a person. For example, you are sending a person an email about an invoice. Those who are placed on the CC area will also receive a copy of the invoice but only for reference purposes.
