A lot of people are aware that gun violence in the United States has increased steadily over the past years. Some people have died from mass shootings. It seems that people are more than 50% more likely to die from a gunshot wound in America as compared to the other parts of the world. For example, last August 2019, there were more than 50 people who were killed in America because of sustaining gunshot injuries.

A few years back, there were more than a hundred thousand people who were killed because of the use of guns. Most of the murders that people commit are done with the use of handguns. It is important for people to know the proper laws and rules so that they will know if they should still get guns or not.

There are more than a million Americans who have died over the past ten years because of gun shootings. There were some that were killed mercilessly, and they were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Some were killed intentionally by their jilted lover, people whom they thought were their friends, and even estranged family members.

There are also some instances when mass shootings have occurred, especially in schools and other public places. Most of the time, more than five people get hurt or killed because of those shootings. According to statistics, people are more likely to become a victim of a gunshot wound in America as compared to other places.
