Some people assume that this is true that boys would love to date dumb girls, but this is not always the case. Some say that men do not really date “dumb” women. Rather, they would like to date women who have other priorities. They would love to date women who will prioritize cooking dinner for them over having to work in the office.
They would also like to date those who would like to prioritize them because will men actually want to date women who will spend more hours doing their work? Men naturally want to be taken care of, and they feel that if a woman is too smart, she would not want to take care of the man.
There are some studies that show that men may become turned off when they are with a woman who they perceive to be intelligent. They sometimes feel that the woman will not be good for their ego. Some men may become intimidated when they feel that a woman is too intelligent.
This explains why there are some men who may love to spend time with women who are considered to be “dumb.” Some guys would like to feel that they can protect the woman and would feel better about themselves. This explains why there are some women who would pretend to be dumb so that men will like them. Do remember that there are always exceptions to the rule.
