Beer pong refers to the game that requires paddles, while Beirut does not require paddles. Beer pong was first played in 1950 at Dartmouth, while Beirut was first played in 1980 at either Bucknell or Lehigh.

The game was developed when people were playing ping pong and left their cups of beer on the table, someone then decided to start aiming at the cups, and then the Beer pong game was born. The Beirut game involves the arrangement of 10 cups in a pyramid shape on both sides of a table; each player stays at either side of the table and takes a turn in throwing the ping pong across the table.

When the ball falls into the cup, then the opponent has won. The rules of each game are different. Paddles are used in beer pong while Beirut is throwing of the ball.

Beer Pong and Beirut are two popular drinking games. Although the two drinking games are played in different parts of the world, Beer Pong is arguably more popular than Beirut. The popularity of the two games, as explained above, is also one of their many differences. In the Beer Pong game, the balls are usually thrown by the use of paddles.

In contrast, you can easily throw the balls with your hand in Beirut. Another difference between the two games can be noticed when you compare the rules of the two games. Although the rules are very similar in both Beer Pong and Beirut; however, what is noticeable is that Beirut has more rules compared to Beer Pong.

While the origin of Beer Pong can easily be traced to the drinking culture of Dartmouth College fraternities in the 1960s, there is no clear information about the origin of Beirut.

Beer pong and Beirut are two types of drinking games, that involve cups and beer. One of the differences between them is when the games where developed. Beer pong is a popular game that is played in college.

It is believed to have started in between the years of 1950 and 1960. It is also believed that the fraternities in Dartmouth created the game. When it comes to Beirut, it is not as clear how that game came about.

While it came after beer pong in 1980, it is debated that either students Lehigh or Bucknell University created the game. Another difference is how the game is played, where beer pong uses a paddle and Beirut just uses the hands.

Beer pong is believed to have launched the college drinking game phenomenon, which began during the 1950s or 1960s, and it started with Dartmouth fraternities. The origin of the Beirut game is up for debate. Some say it came to fruition at Lehigh or Bucknell Universities in 1980. Beer pong is the more popular game between the two. Another difference is that paddles are used in beer pong, whereas the ball is tossed by hand in Beirut.

There are different rules concerning the two separate games. In beer pong, the players hit balls into opposite cups. The winning team is the one who first lands the balls into the cups, and the losers have to drink the beer. In Beruit, when players throw the ball into a cup, the losing team must drink two cups of beer.
