Sofia, who was born on 13 February 1994, is a model and author, and she has published two books on women empowerment. Madison Anderson, who was born on 10 November 1995, as well won the Miss Universe Puerto Rico, which earns her an opportunity to be part of the miss universe contestants. Zozibini Tunzi was born on 18 September 1993, and she also won Miss South Africa 2019. She is a graduate of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. She is the third South African to be crowned Miss Universe.
The Miss Universe competition 2019, which was the 68th Miss Universe pageant, was on the 8th of December, 2019. The event took place LIVE at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Towards the end of the show, Steve Harvey, who has hosted the show for the past five consecutive years, announced Miss Mexico, Miss South Africa, and Miss Puerto Rico as the Top 3 contestants of Miss Universe 2019.
