The answer is yes. In fact, some carriers like Verizon, T-Mobile are currently offering this service. Around March this year, Verizon hinted its subscribers on how much they would be charging for postpaid service. In April, Verizon became the first technology company to launch 5G. And it started using it for commercial purposes as it made the technology available to only Chicago and some areas in the United States.

Verizon announced that only subscribers that are enjoying their unlimited plan like; Above Unlimited Go unlimited and Beyond Unlimited would get 5G by paying $10 per month. However, this has been increased to $50 per month for their subscribers who have 5G smartphones, but those who want to enjoy their service for the first time will pay $70 per month.

T-Mobile, on the other hand, has not revealed what subscribers would be paying for their 5G network, though they promised the price would not be on a high side.

Verizon launched its 5G mobile service in April, but it was only available in two cities at first. Customers will pay an extra ten dollars per month to access it. Verizon won't apply to regulate to the 5G service, but that may change later on, and slowdowns will continue to pertain to Verizon's existing 4G service.

To use the 5G service at launch, you'll have to pay 50 dollars for the Verizon exclusive 5G moto mod, which can be connected to a Motorola Moto. 5G entry will soon be available to customers who subscribe to one of Verizon's unlimited data plans. The plan will cost an extra ten dollars a month, though that ten-dollar add on charge will be forgiven for the first three months.

Yes, there will definitely be postpaid service that will be available for 5G in the future, especially since 5G is expected to be a big part of the future. This may be working alongside 4G right now which explains why people are not in a rush to charge their phones, but there is no doubt that in the long run, people will probably switch to this especially if it would begin to show more obvious advantages over the 4G.

Through 5G technology, it will be easier for people to access IoT or Internet of Things that may be vital for people who would like to have more smart devices at home.
