UI Design and Web Design are important areas in the software industry. A User Interface designer creates and develops programs that a user will interact with when using a computer or machine to complete a task. The user interface can be in the form of bottoms, programs and graphical user interfaces, and other user interfaces that enable users to control a machine effectively. A web designer, on the other hand, helps to create and develop websites and web pages.
A web designer should be able to create simple web pages by using HTML and other simple markup languages. It is expedient for a web designer and a UI designer to be fully grounded in knowing more about how programs are developed so as to meet the varying needs of the users. For instance, a web designer should be able to have a broad knowledge of different markup languages, while a UI designer needs to know more about programming languages.
UI designers and web designers are not the same. A web designer is a person that designs content for the web. In some cases, a web designer is a graphic designer that works to build good looking apps or websites. A UI designer, on the other hand, is an individual that designs the entire screen which a user move and create the visual elements.
The user interface is created based on some functional requirement. A UI designer works with color, illustration, typography, visual design, photography, icons, and graphics. UI elements include icons, sliders, button, and scrollbars. Hope you find this information helpful.
