The plant has been an essential part of human's life, as it helps in the provision of a whole lot of important things in the daily use of man, such as food, clothing, medicine, furniture, etc. The plant is a general term given to organisms that belong to the kingdom "plant," while the herb is a kind of plant that can be used for medicinal purpose, or for food. Plants grow across several places around man, such as the house, schools, gardens, roadsides and many other places, and it can survive a range of climatic conditions.

Herb is just a kind of soft plant which has little or no lignin that is known and used for its medicinal, fragrant, and culinary purpose. Plants can have a long life span base on which kind of plant it is, and herbs have shorter life span than several other plants. Plants can be used for several things such as food, furniture, textiles, stationery, and many more, but herbs are limited to their uses, such as for medicines, fragrant purpose, and in food.
