The division of statistics which is involved with describing the population being studied is descriptive statistics. Inferential statistics is a kind of statistics that concentrates on concluding the populations, based on sample analysis and observation. Descriptive statistics organize, analyze, and present data in a meaningful way. Inferential statistics compare tests and predicts data.
