Neanderthals and humans represent two stages of the human evolution process. Neanderthals lived in a cold setting in Europe and Southwestern to central Asia. Humans lived all over the world. Neanderthals are the most linked extinct species of humans. The main difference between the two is that Neanderthals were hunter-gatherers, whereas humans spend a settled life, manufacturing food through agriculture and domestication.
The Neanderthals skull is comprised of a large middle part of their face, a huge nose, and angled cheekbone. A human’s skull is thin-walled, vaulted with a flat, near vertical forehead. Humans also have a comparatively lighter build as opposed to their more massive boned ancestors.
