The solar system comprises of the sun, planets, and some other objects orbiting around the sun. The planet is categorized into two; we have inner planets and outer planets. Out of eight planets orbiting the sun, four are known as inner planets because they are very close to the sun, i.e., Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.
