The U.S.A. celebrates its Independence Day every 4th of July. All Americans celebrate this day with fireworks and barbecue with the family. It is also declared as a public holiday; thus, millions of people are in the streets joining a parade. America’s Independence Day is widely celebrated by its residents because, during July of 1776, representatives from the 13 North American colonies decided and made a vote to be independent of the kingdom of Great Britain.

Their efforts were not put to vain as on July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was signed. The colonies did not want to demand complete separation but sought more autonomy to lead their land. Since then, Americans have celebrated their independence in different ways to show their love to their homeland.

The United States celebrate the Independence Day annually on July 4. The celebration is done mainly to celebrate the anniversary of the freedom of the United States from being ruled by the British Empire. The adoption of the “Declaration of Independence” passed down legislative authority to the United States.

July 4 is recognised annually as a national holiday in the United States. The day also marks the anniversary of the creation of the nation United States of America as an independent nation. In summary, the US celebrates Independence day to mark its freedom from British rule.
