What is the difference between Pokemon Diamond and Platinum?

There are a lot of people who have played different versions of Pokemon way before playing Pokemon GO. Two of these versions are Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Platinum. A lot of people think that these two are the same in the beginning because there are certain similarities but Platinum is somewhat the more advanced version of Diamond Pearl.

In Platinum, the characters can already run instead of walk. There are also different ways that you can fight gym leaders. The Pokedex is also a much better version as compared to what you will see in Pearl. If you want to experience faster gameplay and so much more, Platinum is definitely the better choice.
