Down Syndrome can’t be prevented especially once the women becomes pregnant. This is because the baby has already been formed and Down Syndrome is a genetic disorder where the child has already formed the third chromosome. However, there are certain things that the mother can do to lessen her risk of having a baby with Down Syndrome. She could have babies earlier in life.

Down Syndrome can’t be prevented especially once the women becomes pregnant. This is because
If she waits until later like in her 40s, she stands a greater chance of having a baby with Down Syndrome. Also, if she already has a child with Down Syndrome, she stands a greater chance of having another baby with Down Syndrome. Therefore, it can’t be prevented but steps can be taken to lessen the risk.
