There are many tourists who visit Europe each year. They may be wanting to get away on vacation and take a break from work. Others may be retired and want to explore Europe because they never really had time to do so. There are about six hundred seventy million tourists that visit Europe each year. Each year though the number of tourists that visit Europe increases. Specifically, the country within Europe that is visited by tourists the most is France.

About eight-seven million tourists visit France. Spain is next with almost eight-two million tourists. The following is Italy, United Kingdom, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Greece, Russia and then Portugal. A lot of these tourists come to see the famous landmarks that are there.
