A cuisine can simply be defined as the characteristic way or style of preparing food, which is often common to a particular place, country or region. European cuisine means the various types of ways through which foods are prepared in Europe or in some countries of Europe. One common thing about most countries of the world is that, they usually have some set of foods that are traditionally common to them. In Europe, we have Austrian cuisine, which means food style common to Austria.
Other examples are; German cuisine, French cuisine, Hamburg cuisine. The kind of historical connections and interaction between most countries in Europe is the reason why a particular type of cuisine common to a country can be found in another country especially neighboring countries. For example, Bulgarian cuisine has influenced most neighboring countries in the Southeastern of Europe. In most countries of Europe, dishes like potatoes, pork, chicken beef are quite common.
