The Maginot Line does not really exist anymore. It was, at one time, a series of fabulous fortifications which were skillfully built by the French Government. It was a series of bunk houses and fortitude spaces to be used in a war. When the Germans insulted Belgium in World War 1 and involved their grounds, France and Germany went to war.

The Line did not hold back the Germans which was disappointing but it was a very well-built fortification. It was comfortable and safe but it did not hold the Germans back so it was not as effective as first thought. It is in existence today but isn't maintained and isn't used.
