Will Ash appear in the Detective Pikachu?

Detective pikachu is an interesting game and another interesting thing is its movie which will be released very soon. But one major shocker about the which is yet to be released is Ash ketchum , one major character is not going to be part of the movie. Ash ketchum which famously declared in the detective pikachu game that 'I would catch them all' is definitely not going to catch any role in thus yet to be released movie.

Rob Letterman who is the director of the movie said Ash won't feature in the movie, but this didn't go well with many people who wants Ash included. Which means the exclusion of Ash would definitely lead to the creation of new role and character for whoever is filling in for him. The sad thing is that, this decision will definitely leave a lot of kids of heartbroken due to their love for detective pikachu game.
