The acronym MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery. It is amazing how the acronym forms that meaning. The title or the award is given to the medical students upon graduation from any university. This might not have so much meaning to you if you are reading because the award can only be given from universities that follow the United Kingdom practice on Medicine.

The acronym MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery. It is amazing how the
Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery is an undergraduate course for medical students where they would be taught values and professional ethical standards for the medicine profession. The award is being given in many countries of the world including the United States and Canada. However, it is never a problem if the acronym MBBS stands for something else in your area, its just telling you there are many acronyms would be having more than one meaning.

There are certain abbreviations that may change from country to country. This means that it will depend on the country that you are living in. For a lot of people, MBBS means Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery. It can be confusing for some people what this is but for those who would like to become doctors, this is an undergraduate course that they can take before they push through with medical school which would take more years to complete. If in case you still do not understand the difference between the MBBS and MD, you may want to research more about this to be sure.

Mbbs is a medical qualification which demonstrates gruaduate level competence in medicine and in surgery. It stands for bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery, and in this way is distinct from MD - Doctor of Medicine - the standard medical qualification. Bachelor degrees are first degrees and not necessarily vocational certificates.
