Zombies have been around in the culture of Haiti for a long time. This may have started out in the 17th century, and it has slowly spread out to the rest of the world. It took longer for the people in the US to know more about zombies. The first-ever zombie movie was released in the year 1932.

Even before that, the first book about zombies that became popular in the US is called, “The Magic Island.” This is a book by William Seabrook. This is a concept that people were interested in, but it was being overpowered by other characters such as Dracula and Frankenstein. It was when the booking form of The Night of the Living Dead was released that made more people gain a more profound interest in zombies.

They are now the subject of many shows and books and are topics of everyday conversations too. It is interesting to wonder if George Romero had a clue what he was started when he dreamed zombies up and presented them to the world.
