Jackie Chan became an actor mostly because nothing else was working out for him. He was never very good in school and he was bullied a lot. He was an opra singer but that endeavor didn't pan out. His martial arts skills were superb and he had a love for acting that he realized when he and his friends got to be in a movie.

Chan's ability to act with his martial arts background and the passing of Bruce Lee all blended together to set a path for the stardome of Jackie Chan. He is a very hardworking star who had suffered broken limbs and a broken nose in order to bring the audience the action they desire in his moves. He will stop at nothing.
