I like managing several people and leading them to a greater self, both in work life and personal life(in a Way)

Gambling problems can always happen to everyone, especially those who like the fact that they can win without making a lot of effort. If your son is addicted to Poker, you need to make your son know that you are there to help them. It will be hard for your son to recognize the problem unless he is able to acknowledge that he has an issue. Those who are addicted to Poker may spend so much of their money trying to win, and most of them are unable to get their money back.

You need to make an effort to show that you care although your son would probably not want to talk to you about it. When gambling is disrupting your son’s life, you need to know that you are there. You can start a support group to help your son battle the gambling issue.

Having to deal with a son who has a poker addiction is not easy, even when they know it. The most important thing a parent needs to know is that it is not your fault. Neither is your son. Don’t blame anyone. Therapy may even be a good option for your son to talk face to face with a doctor about his addiction problem. The reason to gamble becomes addicting because of the rush of adrenaline and winning money. Always talk with your son to make sure that he is in high spirits.

Don’t ignore his emotional state as it may be a sign of depression or feelings of self-denial.
Go to GamCare. It is a website that councils addicted poker players. It is free and can have weekly counseling sessions via Skype or over the phone. Together your son and a doctor can think of strategies to cut himself off from his addiction. Give your son all the support he needs to end his poker addiction.
