Bullfighting is a sport that most likely originated in Spain because Spain is most commonly known for having that sport. Other countries allow bullfighting as a sport, but Spain is the main country for that. However, today, there are areas in Spain that have banned bullfighting, but most of the country allows it.

Bullfighting began in ancient history which is not unusual since many ancient civilizations had arenas where humans and animals would fight against each other for entertainment. Spain probably established bullfighting as a tradition as early as the medieval times when it was considered to be a popular and prominent sport. Only the rich at the time were allowed to participate in the sport. In recent times, the 1700s, Spain began to establish bullfighting as a tradition.
