With acute insomnia, you might not really consider the difficulty to fall asleep or stay asleep a big issue. This problem can also degenerate into a severe condotion. Severe insomnia is actually when the problem has become chronic. A perfect explanation for chronic insomnia is when someone is unable to have proper sleep during the night and is running into months. Although medical findings have not really shown, whether insomnia itself can cause particular cancer, the simple truth is that insomnia can increase the chances of getting other related health issues, including cancer.

It has been researched that insomnia can worsen the condition of the cancer patient. Also, the chance of having insomnia increases with age; that is, insomnia is more common among old people compared to young ones. And the risk of having other terrible illness due to insomnia is very high. Insomnia can lead to fatigue, low productivity during the day, anxiety and depression, etc.
