The eye is an essential part of the body, and a little challenge with the eye causes a lot of displeasure to the body system. The eye is responsible for the sense of vision or for sight, but it can face some unpleasant occurrences, either through birth, or exposure to some environmental risks. A popular negative occurrence on the eye, which is definitely unpleasant to the sense of vision is a cataract. Cataract, if left untreated can cause total blindness, and it is the cause of about fifty percent of the world's blindness.
Though there are no specific means to prevent cataract scientifically, the good news is that this cataract can still probably luckily be uninvited by taking to some measures. Another measure that can be taken to is the prevention of alcohol intake and smoking, prevention of eyes exposed to sunlight, or better still the usage of sunglasses that can counter ultraviolet light, and the intake of antioxidants adequately.
