Alexander, the Great was one of the greatest military commanders ever lived. Although people are so divided about the exact number of the battles he won, it is on record that Alexander the Great won so many battles.

For example, he led various campaigns to conquer different cities, and he would rename any conquered city as Alexander. Let's look at the examples of various battles he fought. Alexander the Great, after he assumed the position as the king of Macedonia, led various campaigns against different empires around Macedonia.

For example, he was able to conquer the Persian empire and extended his boundaries to areas he had conquered. Alexander the Great also led a campaign against Balkan, and he won. In 326 BC, he led a campaign against India and won. Other battles were fought with empires like Issus, Chaeronea, Granicus, Hydaspes, Uxian Defile. At least, Alexander the Great fought about 20 important battles and won.

The best answer is this - every single one. Alexander the Great is of the most noted generals in history, as he never lost a military campaign. His career began when he was around 16 years old, and he put down a rebellion that had arisen in his country of Macedonia. At the time, his father, Philip II was still king. After his death and Alexander ascended the throne, the true campaigning began. With the massive army that he raised, he set forth to conquer as much as he could.

That so young a king, could take a large army and claim established kingdoms, has left many wondering what he could have achieved had he not died at such a young age. When he passed at the age of 32, his kingdom had grown to enormous heights, and the Greek methodology was spreading throughout those lands. The Greek influence can still be seen in some of those territories.
