He has asked for advice from the other mayors who were successful in handling their cities and states regarding the things that can be done. He created the Tallahassee Mayoral Fellows Program. This is a program that allows various students in order to work in the city government.
It will allow students to figure out if the world of politics is right for them or not. He has also done the Mayor’s Summit on Children. This is a conference wherein he gathered the different business leaders to understand the quality of Child Care. He has also done some task forces that aims to help the youth who would need more assistance.
