If you ever drive down the street, you will notice that there are many different kinds of houses. As a matter of fact, there are eleven configurations of houses. Some of these configurations of houses include the bungalow and the cottage which are relatively stylish but smaller houses. The ranch-style house is a one-level house that many of them were built in the 1970s.

Other houses include the gablefront house, courtyard house, snout house, tower house, octagon house and the split leve house. The split level house has two levels and one of those levels is a basement. When you walk inside the house in through the front door, you have to either go upstairs or downstairs to the basement.
