Each year, The Walking Dead puts out a series again. It began in 2010 with its first season. Then eight more seasons followed that. Usually, by the time a series has gone through almost ten seasons, it begins to slow down regarding its followers and popularity. In this case, season nine is occurring right now and season ten has already been accepted, but seasons 11 and 12 are already in the works or have been accepted to occur.
Therefore, I believe that season 13 may be the last only because the other seasons have been talked about and this one has not. However, you never know because there have been some excellent television shows that have had over twenty seasons.
