The correct answer to this question is the fruit. Apart from being the edible part of a plant, it also functions by carrying and protecting the seed. There are different types of fruits; while some are fleshy, others are hard and dry. After fertilization, the developing fruits help protect the immature seed(s) so that the seeds can fully form.

When you look at this from another angle, the fruit also prevents its seeds from germinating prematurely. This is because seeds will always remain dormant as long as they are living in the environment (inside the fruit) that ensures their dormancy.

Also, the fruit protects seed from being destroyed by insects. The reason is that insects will find it difficult to have easy access to the seeds as long as they are surrounded by the fruit. Apart from the fact that the fruit carries and protects the seed, it also aids the dispersal of mature seeds.

The part of the plant that carries and protects the seed is the fruit. Fruit can be simply defined as a structure that develops from the fertilized ovary of a flower. Seeds develop from ovules after fertilization.

A fruit consist of a fruit wall or pericarp enclosing one or more seeds. Note that some fruits don’t have seeds such fruits develop from unfertilized ovaries. Examples of such fruit include pineapple and banana.

The pericarp is made up of three layers: An outer epicarp, a middle mesocarp, and an inner endocarp. These layers may be well developed or indistinct. Fruits can be classified in different ways, depending on their origin or structure. The common ways of classifying fruits include true and false fruits, simple, aggregate, and multiple fruits, fleshy and dry fruits, dehiscent and indehiscent fruit.

The correct answer to this question is fruit. The fruit of the plant is the sweet part and the part of the plant that is edible. This part of the plant is after fertilization. After this process, the fruit takes the seed. The fruit protects it and carries it until the seed ripens.

Though most fruits are sweet, there are some fruits that can give off a taste that is sour. An example of a fruit is the fleshy part that is eaten in mangos. The hard part of the mango is the seed, that the fleshy part of the mango takes to protect and carry until ready to eat.

The correct answer to this question is fruit. The fruit of the plant is the dry ovary part, or it can be fleshy. This can be found in plants that are flowering. The fruit will hold the seeds. This means that grapes, bananas, and apricots are all fruits. This also means that vegetables we enjoy, like tomatoes, bean pods, and corn grains, are all technically fruits.

With that being said, the term fruit is mainly reserved for those fruits that have ovaries that are ripened. They will be sweet and succulent, or they can be pulpy. Fruits are important because they hold a number of nutrients and vitamins.

The part of the plant that carries and protects the seed is called the fruit. This explains why there are a lot of fruits that people eat that will contain seeds. Some of the seeds are edible but most of the time, the seeds are removed and can be grown. The other parts of the plant will come with their own roles.

For example, photosynthesis may occur on the leaves of the plant and some parts of the stem especially if the stem and the leaves are green. The stem will also carry the nutrients like water and food so that the plant will have enough to generate its own food.

The part of the plant that will have the ability to carry and protect the seed is called the fruit. People are normally familiar with the fruits of the plant mainly because most fruits are delightful to eat. There are people who would choose to eat fruits as compared to desserts that are made with different ingredients. Take note that each part of the plant will have its own role.

For instance, the roots will be in charge of getting the nutrients from the soil so that the plant will have enough ingredients in order to make food. The leaves will also be in charge of allowing photosynthesis to take place.

The part of the plant that carries and protects the seed is known as the fruit. The fruit refers to the sweet, edible part of a plant that forms as a product of fertilization. It is important to note that some fruits also give a sour taste. The fruit is the fleshy part we eat in mangoes. The hard part of mango fruit is the seed.

After fertilization, the fruit helps carry and protect the seed until it ripens. The outer part of the fruit is known as the pericarp. It is formed from the ovary and helps protect the seed by surrounding it.

The pericarp can also be divided into three; the epicarp, mesocarp, and endocarp. What forms the seed is the ovule inside the ovary. After pollination, the ovule is fertilized and eventually forms the seed. On the other hand, the rest of the ovary wall is what forms the fruit.
