The movie Captain Marvel will not be an origin story. This means that it will not tackle how Captain Marvel has acquired her powers and how she started being the strongest superhero ever known. The story would then focus on her adventures and the things that she does every day.
There may not be a lot of hype for this movie yet but it may gain its momentum in the months to come. It will not be shown soon so other people may be more excited for upcoming movies that can be watched in a few months or so. The movie will showcase the skills and the powers that the character has.
