The endocrine system is composed of the different glands that are in charge of producing the different hormones that the body needs. The hormones that are produced are meant to regulate people’s metabolism. They are also meant to improve the growth and development of people.

The function of the tissues will also depend on the hormones that are being produced by the various endocrine glands found in the body. When the endocrine system is not functioning normally, people will lack the hormones to function well and feel healthy all the time.

Diabetes is one of the conditions that will signify an endocrine disorder. It is best to be aware of the symptoms to get yourself checked immediately.
