The Chinese culture developed over thousands of years, but it was brought to an almost complete end between 1966 and 1976 with the Cultural Revolution. It practically mirrored the saying “Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it burnt in one.” The Chinese culture that we know today is mostly a bravada put on by the CCP. Traditional Chinese culture is only alive in Hong Kong and Macau to some extent, since they are both governed under the two systems, one country policy.

However, traditional Chinese culture is beautiful. Kung fu, Falun Gong (or Falun Dafa), Cantonese Chinese, and many other things that are not seen in the mainland are what China was known for many years ago. Other things Chinese culture contributed to are gunpowder, compasses, and
