Church attendance is important because it can help those with a busy schedule get a chance to study scriptures, listen to hymns, and draw nearer to Christ when it is a Christian assembly. To a priest or a pastor, attendance in their congregation might be important so they can plan accordingly. If the group is all elderly, then the sermon is going to be tailored so that they feel it is important to them.

Others might feel that church attendance is important because it helps them connect to others in the community who share their faith. Simply put, attendance at church is important to people for different reasons. If it’s important to you, you have a good reason to make it so.
