The right formula is going to be +IF(E10>74, "PASSED," "FAILED"). The use of excel has made it so much easier for a lot of people to computing for different things. There are a lot of professors who use excel in computing the grades of their students.

The professors need to input the grades that their students have received to the different tests, recitation, projects, and so much more. They will get the total, and if the average is below 74, then the word FAILED will appear on the designated cell. If the grade is 75 and above, then the word PASSED will appear. This can make things easier for the professor for sure.

The remarks will be: +IF(E10>74,"PASSED","FAILED"). There are some people who may get confused with placing the right remarks and formulas. It is important to know the different formulas available because this will make the computation of several numbers faster.

Plus, there will be details about the grade so those who are looking at the sheet will only have to find their names to know if they have passed or not. This is something that teachers may do now. They will just share the spreadsheet file to the rest of the class for more details. Some teachers and professors will also allow their students to compute their own grades.
