The particular quantum material can demonstrate electrical dipole fluctuations or irregular oscillations of tiny charged poles on the material-even extremely cold conditions. The material is derived from organic compounds but behaves like a metal. What was found with this particular quantum material is that, even at super cold temperatures, electrical dipoles are still present and fluctuates according to the laws of quantum mechanics.

The material is called BEDT-TTF 2 Hg SCN 2 Br. It is derived from natural compounds but behaves like a metal. Even at very cold temperatures, electrical dipoles fluctuate based on the guidelines of quantum mechanics.
