To solve this, you need to do the following processes: The first thing is you need to find VOY. Then, you need to look for T. Look for YMAX, and you will get the answer. You just need to place all of the needed figures to get the best answer available.

The movement that the basketball went through can be considered as projectile motion. This usually occurs when an object is thrown in the air. This happens when the object is thrown near the earth’s surface. There are various factors that may affect the rate of the motion of the object. For example, the object’s weight will matter.

My answer is 3.06 m
Find Voy
40 sin 12 = 7.71 m/s
Find t
7.71 / 9.8 = 0.79 s
Then find Ymax
9.8(0.79)Raise to 2 / 2= 3.06 s
