Which cities are known for their food?

In the United States, there are a few major cities that are known for a specific type of food. These mainly include The Keys in Florida, New York, Philadelphia and Chicago. The Keys in Florida is known for its key lime pie where limes grow abundantly. New York is known for its cheesecake. That doesn’t mean you can only buy this cheesecake in New York, but it became popular there and it is known for being the best if you eat it there.

In Chicago, pizza is the best. Everyone knows that if you want the best pizza, you have to go to Chicago. Finally, Philadelphia is known for its cheesesteak sandwiches. A long roll is opened and roast beef or steak is cut into pieces and cheese is spread on it.

Several cities around the world and in the United States specialize in a specific food or restaurant for which they are well known. Some of these include Austin, Texas is famous for its tacos. Philadelphia Pennsylvania is noted for the cheesesteak. New Orleans Louisiana is renowned for the Po'boy sandwich, served on French bread with meat such as crab or roast beef. St. Louis Missouri is known for toasted ravioli.

Chicago and New York have the best pizza. Chicago's famous deep-dish pizza has crust up to three inches tall. New York boasts the best to go pizza in Manhattan. Baltimore Maryland is renowned for their crab cakes. Boston Massachusetts is famous for its clam chowder. Trenton New Jersey is well known for its pork roll.
