The correct answer to this question is D, the Antecubital fossa. It is known as an only elbow pit. The antecubital fossa is a triangular depression in the arm, which is small. The Antecubital fossa is created by the connection of the radius and ulna of the forearm with the humerus.

Its' name came about because fossa stands for groove or small ditch. The fossa is home to many famous structures, including the median nerve, biceps brachii, and radial nerve. The antecubital fossa also created by the muscles and the tendons that surround it, along with the surrounding tissues.

Atopic dermatitis, included in a larger group of skin conditions called eczema, sometimes will appear on children before age five; however, there is no age restriction for this condition. The symptoms include dry, scaly skin, a rash that bubbles and leaks fluid, and cracked skin that is painful and sometimes bleeds.

Atopic dermatitis tends to to run in families, and it can emerge anywhere on the body. Many things can cause a flare of the rash including but not limited to laundry soap, perfume, creams, dry skin, and stress. The best way to attempt control would be to find your triggers and avoid them. Medically, this condition is usually treated with topical ointments or creams and if needed oral steroid medication.
