Vitiligo is a disease that affects the skin. It makes the dark skin have patches of white skin because it loses its pigment. If family members have had this disorder, it is more likely that other relatives will have it since it is hereditary. Michael Jackson’s skin color seemed to change and it got lighter over the years. His lighter skins made people wonder why and how his skin would change colors unless he did something to it.

However, he claimed to have vitiligo. It seemed like it would have been easy for a specialist to determine whether this was vitiligo or not. However, I never heard about evidence from a doctor confirming this disease. Instead, I do believe that Michael Jackson could have covered the darker skin with lighter make-up.
