Social media including twitter are avenues that people can take to express their viewpoints. It is a way for people to release their anger and get their point across in an informal way. In this case, this is merely a tool that people across the world use to give their thoughts and ideas without it being censored. Therefore, anybody’s tweets and social media information may need to be taken with a grain of salt since they are all utterances that are quickly written. Twitter is also limited on the amount of words that you can use.
Therefore, people are limited in what they can say. It is better to wait until formal speeches are given than to take everything that was written on a social media site as exactly what the person is saying.
