I really don't think Microsoft stole the concept of Apple OS 9 and used it in Windows XP. I think it is very easy to believe this allegation since both operating systems are similar in some ways. Also, if you consider the fact that Apple had released its operating system some years before Microsoft released Windows XP, you might think Microsoft stole the concept of Apple OS 9.

Apple is known for its innovative products, and since there are other competitors, they would definitely want to try and copy what Apple is doing. As far as I'm concerned, I don't see this as theft since Apple couldn't argue that Microsoft stole the source code of its operating system.

The fact that someone has already tried a new thing does not mean others cannot try and produce something similar to it. However, a similar decision was reached by the court when Apple sued Microsoft for copyright infringement.

The correct answer to this question is No. Mac OS 9 was created in 1999 by Apple. Many people regard this operating system has the best operating system to have ever been used. This is why many people think that there are other companies that would come out and try and steal or copy the ideas. Many look to Microsoft XP and feel that they copied Apple OS 9.

However, the answer is no, because Microsoft designs this. Though they have similarities in the colors of the system and the function that the system has, Microsoft adamantly denies that they stole anything and that they came up with the system on their own.

There was a time when Microsoft released a GUI−based operating system that they called “Windows.” Right now, people are very much familiar with Windows. It has been upgraded so many times and people who are using different laptops and some phones will be familiar with this as their operating software.

The thing is Apple sued Microsoft for it because they feel that this has stolen the way that the Mac OS looks like. There are some key features that Apple did first that Microsoft may have also tried. It is obvious that Mac is innovative at that point. It introduced some things that people did not think were possible but the thing is, Microsoft did things to make some of the features happen.

The Apple OS 9 or Mac OS 9 was first created by the Apple company in 1999. Since it was considered to be one of the best operating systems ever used, it can be understood why other companies would steal or try to copy this system. It allows for searching on the Internet. However, it does have faults including that it doesn’t have memory protection or multitasking.

It is believed that both Microsoft XP and Apple OS 9 have many similarities between them. This includes that they use the same colors and functions. However, Microsoft denies that they stole the ideas from Apple. They contend that their ideas are all of their own. However, Apple thinks otherwise due to the large number of similarities.
